Sated, the protoshoggoth rests for a moment before slithering back to its lair. Its belly quivers as April continues to struggle. Other spasms indicate the movement of muscles that begin to knead the prey and pump digestive fluids into the stomach. Over the course of an hour April's movements will diminish as she succumbs to oxygen deprivation and the digestive process.
With a contented grunt the beast begins to move deeper into the forest, bearing the helpless April Flores in its distended gut. She has solved the mystery of the missing women- in the most intimate way possible.
